Start your weekend off with some refreshing outdoor activity as we remove blackberry and other weeds from Mason Gulch, a beautiful forested gulch near Ruston Way Park.

Tools, gloves, and instruction will be provided. This event is open to people of all ages and abilities.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are limiting the size of this event 20 people, so make sure to register and save your spot!

What to Bring

Please dress in layers and in clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are recommended. Bring a full water bottle and snacks. Don't forget to bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.

Where to Meet

Meet at the North End Wastewater Treatment Plant. 4002 N Waterview St, Tacoma, WA 98407 (Just off of Ruston Way).

Where to Park

Park at the North End Wastewater Treatment Plan. Parking is somewhat limited at the treatment plant, so volunteers are highly encouraged to carpool. Overflow parking is available across Ruston Way at Cummings Park.
