Come out and learn some restoration basics and help out your community. We will be planting native plants and removing some aggressive weeds to ensure the survival of our native plant friends.

This wetland is located in the Port of Tacoma making it an ideal location for all the ecosystem services the wetland provides. Come out and make a big difference where it really matters.

Tools, gloves, and instruction will be provided. This event is open to people of all ages and abilities.

What to Bring

Please dress in layers and in clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are recommended. Bring a full water bottle and snacks if you would like them. Don't forget to bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.
